Agnes Delores Warnke of Brooklyn, NY passed away on August 25, 2019, She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold, and sons, Martin and Robert (Patricia). She is survived by her adoring daughter, Teresa (Martin), her devoted sons Christopher (Catherine), Edward (Kathleen) and Dennis (Jean), her 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Agnes was the last living sibling of the Martin and Annie Walsh family who resided on 58 Street in Brooklyn for 92 years. All nine children were members of the “Great Generation” who either served in the military during World War II or were contributors to the war effort. Her beloved husband, Harold, was twice stationed in the Pacific theater with the U.S. Navy. Harold and Agnes were world-class parents who imbued in their children a love and devotion to family, a cornerstone of the Irish culture. She loved to dance, play golf, and spend time with her grandkids at “Camp Grandma” at Peach Lake. The family and friends will gather for visitation and remembrance on August 28, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin and Sons, 9620 3rdAvenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209. Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 526 59th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11220 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the OLPH Senior Citizens in Agnes’ name.
