James was a very hardworking, honest, generous man who never forgot where he came from. He was born in Greece and came to the United States at the age of 3. He never forgot how his life advanced by the help of others so whenever he could, he helped others advance their lives, he didn’t hesitate to help and he helped many people. He wasn’t an easy man and most things had to be done his way but he was honest to a fault and his word meant everything to him. If he shook your hand and agreed to something - you didn’t need it in writing because he never broke his word. He was a fierce protector of all those he loved. He worked his whole life to provide a wonderful life for his wife of 58 years, Helen and his three kids - Gus, Paula and AnnMarie. He was a proud father in law to Robert and stylianos but He was an even prouder grandfather to Andriana, James, Spiro, Eleni, Alexa and Jamie. He instilled good work ethic and values in not only his children but anyone who was lucky enough to be around him. Any decision he made - his family was always his main focus and he made sure his parents were never far from him and included in his plans. He loved and protected is brother, Louie, until he passed at home surrounded by family 26 years ago. When his father passed away and his mom needed extra care - both he and his wife didn’t hesitate to move her in with them and care for her until her passing. I don’t believe a kinder, more honest man could be found. James has been returned to the loving arms of his parents and brother and has been reunited with two of his closest friends, Marvin and Lou, who both embraced him and loved him for more than 50 years here on earth. Do not be sad for him, remember the strong man, who put the most into everything he did and expected the same from those around him
